We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help Barbers Hill seventh graders begin thinking about their career choices and future finances. Volunteers will teach Junior Achievement’s “Economics for Success”, a structured curriculum that gives students the information needed to build strong personal finances, a cornerstone to a happy, secure life.
Time: The course consists of six one-hour lessons, to be taught once a week between early January and early March. A minimum of one hour per lesson should be allocated to prepare for each lesson. Volunteers will sign up for a particular day and time (i.e., Wednesdays at 10) and will correspond closely with the teacher of their particular class. - If you would like to learn more, please join us for JA Training!
